Thomastown's Neon Wolf are calling it a day.

Kilkenny’s Neon Wolf are calling quits on what’s been “one hell of a journey” according to a statement released on the band’s Facebook page.

Having been on the local circuit for the past few years, the band took some big shows in recent months including Electric Picnic, Whelan’s and The Academy in Dublin as well as opening for Stereophonics at Royal Hospital Kilmainham last June.

Before there was Neon Wolf, there was Myp Et Jeep, so here’s hoping there’s another chapter to come. They haven’t left without a parting gift mind you, releasing You Know I Mean It.

Five years ago, it began with debut single All Of It’s Yours, produced by Leo Pearson. Cheers for the tunes.
