With early-bird tickets long gone, Cavan foursome The Strypes are set to play this year’s Carlow Arts Festival ahead of the release of new album, Spitting Image.

The new album lands on 16 June, a week after their Carlow show, and is being marked with a gig in Tower Records (Dublin) before heading for a full album show in a secret venue. It’s been two years since the release of Little Vitories (2015) and another two again since their debut album Snapshot landed in 2013.

The Strypes play Carlow Arts Festival on Saturday 10 June at the O’Hara’s Pavilion (Festival HQ). Tickets €25. Exiles support.
